All Nighters Might Not Be As Great As You Thought
In a recent study accepted for publication in The Endocrine Society’s Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism (JCEM), scientists found that just one night of short sleep can bring on insulin resistance, a part of type 2 diabetes. Knowing many of you are in or approaching finals week, I thought I’d help shed some light as to why that might not be a good idea. I mean, let’s be real. Sleep is pretty awesome.
