Central Bible Leadership Institute (CBLI) 2012

What is CBLI?
Central Bible Leadership Institute offers a place to Salvation Army people engaged in mission to rest, enjoy fellowship, and experience growth.

Since 1944 Salvation Army soldiers and officers have come to CBLI for meaningful and satisfying teaching, worship, fellowship, recreation, and personal refreshment at Wonderland Camp and Conference Center located in southern Wisconsin. CBLI’s purpose is to nurture and prepare Salvation Army people to serve the world through the Army’s mission to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in his name without discrimination.

Families with children and individual adults, young adults, and teens enjoy a wide range of activities led by a team of Salvation Army leaders and guests selected from throughout North America. The Program Services section of Territorial Headquarters plans age specific adult, young adult, teen, and children tracks for Bible study, leadership training, and worship. At CBLI there are also many opportunities for all campers regardless of age to share in meals, recreation, fellowship, worship, and fun.

There are two awesome tracks that we want to point you guys to; the Encounter Track (ages 14-17) and the Young Adult Community (ages 18-29).

Encounter Track (ages 14-17)
Be a part of the 2012 Encounter Track!

Each day during CBLI, the Encounter track includes praise and worship, Bible study, electives, sporting tournaments, and fellowship.

Come and meet new friends, connect with old ones.

The Encounter track will challenge teens to examine their personal relationship with Jesus.
Jesus never asked us to sit on the sideline and cheer for his cause. He asked us to be His followers.

Some teens don’t know what they’ve said “yes” to and some people don’t know what they’ve said “no” to. It’s time to take a stance once and for all – because in a culture overwrought with lukewarm believers, Jesus is ready to define the relationship. The Encounter Track is going to study the book Not A Fan by Kyle Idleman

Young Adult Community (ages 18-29)
Be a part of the 2012 CBLI Young Adult Community! This intimate group meets for worship, Bible study, leadership training and fellowship each day during CBLI. As a result, powerful connections are made and a strong sense of community is formed with a group of peers who understand where you are on your journey.

This just in! Lt. Colonel Janet Munn—Secretary for Spiritual Life Development for International Headquarters (IHQ)—is confirmed as the guest Bible Study teacher for this year. You will not want to miss what this powerful woman of God will share as she teaches on “Spiritual Discipline” each day for the Young Adult Community.

Students will also be equipped with practical leadership training during the daily “Leadership Soapbox” workshop. The Singing Company will also be on hand to lead worship each day during CBLI. Registration is extremely limited (only room for 100) so make sure you get your registration in early!
