I’ll Fight Day 2009

What is I’ll Fight Day?
I’ll Fight Day is a servant evangelism day for youth of The Salvation Army that will take place all across the world on Saturday, December 5th, 2009.

How can I take part in I’ll Fight Day?
Follow these steps:

  1. Read the list of suggested servant evangelism activities,
  2. Get your friends together and figure out what you want to do,
  3. Put your plan into action!

What else should I know about I’ll Fight Day?
Start planning now. Go over the provided list of servant evangelism examples, talk to your friends and figure out what you are going to do.
Pitch in. Some of the activities require you to spend your own money. The more people who you get to pitch in, the more you can do.
Take some pics. We want to know what your Corps did during I’ll Fight Day. You can post these pictures on the website after the event.

All projects are free—don’t accept any money!

I’ll Fight Day 2007 (4 Days Away!!!)

I’ll Fight Day 2007 is ONLY 4 DAYS AWAY and will take place on Saturday, December 8th throughout the Division. Last year 12 corps and over 150 teens from the Metropolitan Division participated in I’ll Fight Day and we hope to get more involved this year.

Here’s some things you should know:
-For the complete collection of I’ll Fight Day Resources, click here.

-Get your I’ll Fight Day plan figured out right away. Get together with your Corps group and make sure you are all on the same page and are prepared for the big day.

-Take digital pictures of the event and send them to me. They will be used in an upcoming Central Connection article and will be featured at the I’ll Fight Day victory celebration at the January 4th Prayer & Praise Night NEW LIFE! at the Norridge Corps. If you want your picture to be featured in the upcoming Central Connections article, you must have the photo consent form signed (see your Corps Officer/Youth Leader for the form).

It’s going to be awesome.

Are you in? RSVP here.

Happy I’ll Fight Day

I’m glad you guys could be a part of I’ll Fight Day. If you could write me a brief description of what your Corps did on I’ll Fight Day that would be great.

Please also be sure to write down a list of all the youth from your Corps that participated in I’ll Fight Day so I can get them a copy of The Singing Company Christmas Musical.

Leave me a comment and let me know how it went!

What is I’ll Fight Day?

I’ll Fight Day is a youth servant evangelism day that will take place on Saturday, December 9th, 2006 throughout the Metropolitan Division.

Those who participate in I’ll Fight Day will be given a list of suggested activities to do around their corps and community that will show the love of Christ and help build the Kingdom of God.

What you decide to do is totally up to you! Activities can range from shoveling snow in your corps neighborhood, to making lunches and serving coffee to your corps’ bellringers around town.

If you are interested in participating in I’ll Fight Day let your Corps Officer or Youth Pastor know and begin planning what activities you want to do. You are also encouraged to take photos (digital if possible) and present what your Corps did at the January 19th Prayer & Praise Night at Templo Laramie.
